Mr. Hall attempts to make some major reference to Darwinian theory not reconciling with Entropy. It appears to me that he is spending his efforts looking only at the Order aspect and completely ignoring Disorder and Chaos as defining aspects of Entropy. Maybe he should actually pick up some of the physics books he was supposed to have read and learn a bit more about the theories he pretends to espouse.

I must agree with this last comment. I would be very concerned if my children were enrolled in his school. I am sad that he has all of this energy which oould be used for good yet isn't. For example, Judge Wheeless routinely breaks the law to take children from fit parents and turn them over to foster care which has a horendous child abuse rate. Mr. Hall could focus on this if he really has compassion. However, instead, he chooses to spend his time dividing a number by zero and claiming it is somehow enlightening that the answer makes no sense. Also, he claims some sort of revalence may be obtained by reconciling entropy with Darwinism and claiming the result, or perhaps the attempt, has spiritual meaning. This makes as much sense as a war between an elephant and a whale. There is no meaningful contect in which to have such a war. There is nothing to debate or to discuss here as the first principles he bases his theories on are fatally flawed. I wish he would put all of his excess energy into doing good. He could make a real positive impact which God would reward.

Yesterday, David Hall sent the following letter to the Plano School Board:

Dear Plano ISD School Board,

Darwinism is not good science. It requires violating a law of nature Entropy. Therefore, it cannot be true any more than the proof on my website that 2=1, where I follow all of the Math steps, but violate a law of Math by dividing by zero http://dhall-planoisd.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html.

Darwinism should only be taught in proper context of the things it has spawned. Nazi Germany was a government where survival of the fitest was tested by fire. This approach was not only found to be less fit but it is also abhorent to ALL people.

Darwinism is the basis for a Atheism. This is a religion just like religions that are based on Creationism inlcuding Judaism, Christianity, and Moslem beliefs. Therefore, if teaching Creationism constitutes establishing a religion then teaching Darwinism does the same.

However, Creationism is THE basis for our Nation, THE reason our slaves were freed, and THE reason we continue to exist as a Nation.

Therefore, I request that you file suit against the TEA for including Darwinism in the Texas Essential Knowledge & Skills (TEKS) as part of the Science requirements. I am confident that more than sufficient money will be donated to cover the cost of this lawsuit, and I volunteer to begin raising that money and/or arranging for pro bono services, as soon as you approve moving forward on this IMPORTANT matter. Thank you for your service to the Plano Community.

I am truly thankful that the voters got it right this time in defeating Mr. Hall's bid for a PISD Board position. He is "off the deep end". I find it extremely troubling that he is an educator, being paid with tax dollars to teach our children.

He is a great example of what is wrong with the Texas Charter School program.

Thank you so much for further explaining your thoughts. You have convinced me even more that you are a natural fit for the followers of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. You may find them at www.venganza.com. They preach the scientific theory that all of creation was caused by intelligent design or ID. This is another form of creationism. You really ought to get together with them. You would fit right in.

Anon,

Thank you for reviewing my information regarding Education, Darwinism, and other important matters.

My thoughts about public schools are based on Creationism just like our Declaration of Independence. I believe that EVERY person is INFINITELY valuable because they are created in the image of God (Spiritually) so it is PAINFUL for me to see people who are not as productive as they are able. EVERY person is able to contibute good to ALL other people.

Please let me know how you reconcile Darwinism with Entropy. Part of my education is in Physics. If there is something wrong in my logic then I am willing to consider changing my mind.

David Hall: I must admit that while I feel you have some innovative thoughts regarding public schools, I just don't find it possible to reconcile them to your comments regarding creationism, Darwinism, etc. I have explored the latter in depth and I do not recognize your version.

Another religion, that of the Church of the Flying Speghetti Monster, has the same issue. Theirs is a religion based upon revered ancient texts which also explain the creation of our universe in a manner similar to yours. You will most likely find them to be allies of yours since they too, are advocates of promoting creationism in school, theirs as well as yours. I am sure you would find this most fair.

That makes no sense, Bill. Wealthy people send their kids to private schools, especially when they live in a North Dallas neighborhood with bad public schools.

I don't want anyone touching PISD. It's working really well.

The Charter School that I work for helps less fortunate students, they are not thugs, most have something that keeps them from fitting into the regular ISD's. For instance Gay students often enroll in our schools because we have zero tolerance for bullying.

Public schools (including Charters) in Texas are not allowed to charge tuition. However, there is some amount paid by Texas for each student that attends during a day. That amount for 1500 students would cover the Plano ISD $14 million shortfall.

The approaches that prevent students from enrolling that are not willing to be contributors include: upfront interview explaining what will be required, full information prior to enrollment, and contract with parents and student that spells out everything. I believe that Plano ISD would attract the best and brightest students.
