As a member of KERA and a huge fan of public radio, I was pleasantly surprised to see conservative Collin County welcoming one of our team members as a candidate.

It is great to see quality people running for a post such as this. Hopefully, none of them plan on getting a law degree from SMU at the taxpayers expense in Collin County. My vote will be for the first candidate who will run on the platform of signing back that yearly check for $111,000 plus expenses (for a part-time job, no less) to the county each year. That in opinion would be a true "Citizen Server."
