The Observer interviews the Plano City Council candidates

Earlier today, I had an opportunity to sit down with André Davidson, and later with Cathy Fang. Both ladies graciously agreed to interrupt their campaigning for a video interview.

I asked both candidates questions relating to their vision of Plano's future and how they saw their role on the City Council in facing the issues of today.

Congratulations to you all--Andre, Cathy and Bill!

Even though I am in the Third Congressional District as is much of Plano, I'm glad that I live the part that encompasses Garland so that I don't have to choose between Andre and Cathy. Both of you are great candidates for the position on the Plano City Council. I'm sure that either one of you will serve the city of Plano well.

As for you, Bill: What great videos of these two candidates! The Collin County Observer provides a great service for all the people who live in the Third District. It is so helpful to see videos of candidates such as this--still, as in the case of Cathy and Andre, it doesn't make choosing any easier.

Best wishes for you both.

I really enjoyed the interviews and thought the questions really probed the breath of their knowledge of some of Plano's current issues and past obstacles. I really felt that 1 candidate was more sincere in expressing their feelings and intentions; which really gives me an idea of where they are before the true politics starts up. Thanks a billion, I really needed that

I liked Andre in this race and I believe these videos confirm that we have two good candidates. My family contributed 4 votes to Andre and I am confident we made the best decision. I wish both candidates luck and success after the election. Great job Bill.
