With this economy, it is no surprise that we have so many candidates this year.

We need judges that want the job for the right reasons. A steady paycheck, hungry for power, unearned respect are bad reasons (almost always hidden from us with words)

Although, I like Shawn, I'm voting for Don High because he has the experience.

Experience doing what?

To: couched in conservative. Don High is experienced in that he is the only attorney in this race that is board certified in criminal law. Just like you want your accountant to be a CPA, any judge should be board certified in some area of the law and for county court at law that is 85% criminal, it should be criminal law.

Is Jay Bender accepting an emmy or running for office? I've never seen anyone thank so many people in a 2 minute speech.

Point well taken Mr. Baird, but what has Mr. High done lately except be [redacted] prosecuter to traffic violators in Wylie municipal Court?.Both Mr. Bender and Mr. Ismail have tried a whole lot more cases in Collin County Criminal Courts recently. There's more to being a judge than taking a test.

Anyone can swing the bat, but Don High can hit!

If Don is serious about the law this time around, and is through with his singing and dancing career, he will be a fine judge. Otherwise, he'll be a part-timer and we dont need more of those around here. Ismail is probably best second choice for quality attorney.
