Ms Bryant says: "However, frivolous lawsuits will not be tolerated" Wow is all I can say to this comment. I have never heard a judge or juducial candidate make this type of statement - that's because actual judges don't give opinions on how they would rule - because they are ethically prohibited from doing so. Even the Supremes don't do that.

not "tolerating" a "frivolous" case? Judge's judge those cases that are filed by the free citizens of this county seeking resolution of their disputes. A judge makes a ruling on those cases that are filed. Public servants don't "tolerate" and don't get to decide what is frivolous. Wow - talk about legislating from the bench - you saw it here on Bill's Blog first!

Isn't this court 90% criminal law? Are any of those cases "frivolous"? Looks like Drain and Rose have criminal law experience. And actually work in Collin County. What's with the pile on of these candidates (not Rose and Drain) who aren't qualified for the job?
