Local Races feature GOP Primary contests

I have been trying to post the definitive list of all local primary races, but since the Collin County Republican Party will not release a list of its primary filings, I have been forced to use what I know and compare that to what the McKinney Courier-Gazette has published.

Here is what I know -

County commissioner Precinct 1 -
Republicans:
Phyllis Cole of Plano - Incumbent
Matt Shaheen of Plano
Douglas Reeves of Plano.

County commissioner Precinct 3 -
Republicans:
Joe Jaynes of McKinney, Incumbent
Corbett Howard, Celina Mayor
Democrats:
Victor Manuel of McKinney

Constable Precinct 1 -
Republicans:
Paul Elkins, of McKinney
Billy Lanier of McKinney
Novaline Varner of McKinney

Constable Precinct 2 -
Republicans:
Joe Barton, Incumbent
Billy Meeks Jr. of Wylie

Constable Precinct 3 -
Republicans:
James DeCoux? of Allen
Charles Presley Sr. of Richardson

Tax assessor-collector -
Republicans:
Kenneth Maun, Incumbent
Karl Voigtsberger of Richardson

380th Judicial District Court judge -
Republicans:
Charles Sandoval, Incumbent
Suzanne Wooten of McKinney

Republican incumbents unopposed include:
Constable Precinct 4 - Johnny Todd
Collin County sheriff - Terry Box
199th District Court judge - Robert Dry Jr.
416th Judicial District Court judge - Chris Oldner
Justice of the peace for Precinct 3, Place 1- Johnnie Glenn Lewis

When I was in the Republican Office at 30 minutes before the filing deadline, JP Precinct 2 place 1 had 3 people running including J. Lewis.

You ought to check with the Collin County Election Department and find out who has set up their treasurer. This is required prior to registering in the Primary. I don't know what all has to be reported on the form thus don't know if it lists the Party or office a person is running for (but would assume so.) If nothing else, this should be available to an open records request.
